Timebox is a companion app for Timebox hardware. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. All app data (timer configurations, preferences, and settings) is stored locally on your device using your device's standard local storage and is never transmitted to any external server.

Permissions

Timebox requests the following permissions solely to support its core functionality:

• NFC — to write timer configurations to Timebox NFC tags

• Local Network / Wi-Fi — to connect to your Timebox device on your local network for firmware updates

• Location (Android) — required by the Android operating system to scan for and connect to Wi-Fi networks; Timebox does not access, record, or transmit your location

Internet Access

Timebox uses internet/network access exclusively to communicate with your Timebox hardware on your local network. No data is sent to external servers.

Third-Party Services

Timebox does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

Timebox does not collect any data from users of any age.
